• SYNOPSIS:

Macy, Mel and Maggie are three young university students with somewhat special qualities: magical powers. Thus, each one has the following qualities: Mel, at 25, is a fervent activist for the feminist cause, as well as a lesbian and capable of stopping time; Maggie, 18 years old, is Mel's little sister and sister –although totally opposite to her-, she is very athletic and passionate about fitness, she can also read people's thoughts; and finally Macy, who is approaching thirty, is studying quantum mechanics, possesses the ability of telekinesis.

The story is complicated when Macy suspects that she is also Mel and Maggie's sister, who share the Pruitt surname. In addition, throughout the chapters and sometimes accompanied by their partners (or ex-partners), Charmed also shows us the situations these characters experience, which a priori may seem very everyday but, if the elements of the magical world are added everything ends up getting complicated.

This series is a 'reboot' of the famous fiction from the 90s, Charmed. Jennie Snyder Urman, Executive Producer of Jane the Virgin, brings this reinvention of the original Aaron Spelling story to the CW network. The script for the pilot episode is written by Jessica O'Toole, Amy Rardin, and Jennie Snyder Urman.
